Something weird popped up on my screen tonight

Hi guys, on starting the car this evening I had a speed display graphic pop up on screen briefly which I've never seen before.

It was the various UK standard road speeds in MPH, it went away too quickly to get a photo of it, but on searching the web, found a youtube clip that shows exactly that, albeit this is German and the speeds are in km/hr



Now i did have the firmware on my Nav Pro updated a month or two back and it now stands at 0200 (was 0172), but can't find mention of it anywhere in the settings ?

Anyone seen this before ?

Looks like the screen you get when you cross boarders...say Holland to Belgium and it, gives you the speed limit of that country.  Never seen it happen in UK before though. ?

It's happened to me a couple of times but can't remember exactly where I was when it happened. It may have been after the maps were updated.

Höchstgeschwindigkeit = Top Speed. There must be a button on the discovery pro about it somewhere, although I cant see it in the manual.

Probably just the GPS Receiver obtaining its fix upon initial power up and finding inaccurate coordinates in another country briefly.

Quite normal - it always does this when you re-enter regular roads from an 'off road' situation such as an airfield....

Yes also happened to me a few times and wondered what was causing it. I've yet to update any maps

I usually get that screen if I am on an unlisted road then return to a road on the nav map.

Exactly this.  I have a client that is a hotel in the middle of no where; when I rejoin the main road after leaving there I get this message everytime.
