Scrap money street beater
« on: 11 March 2015, 10:52 »
Hi all, just bought a slightly battered and sorry for itself cabby, its the 1.8 base model, in a fetching dark green, well 90% of it is anyway...

got a few plans, its got a few spots of tinworm i need to sort but mainly it just needs to be low, even if it goes to heaven at the end of summer!

excuse the terrible quality pics, they were from the online auction advert

Few more pics, i bought some wheels a while back off a guy in the midlands, drove up one crappy morning and grabbed them, came with 4x100 - 4x114.3 adaptors and 165/45/16s just needed a tidy up and some paint

After a few days id painted them matte grey, like primer really but i like the cleaner ratty style if that makes any sense! So here how they look now, sitting on the living room floor along with my front and rear bumpers and grille, the missus has threatened to slice my nuts off if they stay there much longer!

Oh.... They are 7x16 Jeep Cherokee wheels if anyone cares, I'm going through heartache working out offsets. final ET is - (yes minus) 14. but to my working out it won't be too dramatic because its such a narrow wheel. I hope.....
