Would you buy an ex police car?

I bought an old Subaru impreza that Manchester police used it had a huge file of history all main dealer

For e.g let's say it's an ex traffic Evo. I probably would. Hard to keep up with the strict servicing and maintenance, but the police will mange. A runnabout Astra Derv? No. It's been driven round town endlessly and the price saving will be minimal.

In that case you " should " be ok

the hi end cars tend to be shown a BIT of respect from the drivers, at the end of the day they are the ones driven as speed.

its the panda cars that are demolition derby specials with anyone jumping in and not giving a sh1te about them

I nearly went to look at some ex police 330d's in Manchester, but realised insurance on the 330d was obscene.

I did a quick check and it only worked out about 30 quid more than my mk3 8v!
