Golf mk4 1.8t AGU 2000.
Aircon Compressor works blowing hot and cold air but the black bit at the very side starts/stops whenever I have the blowers on. It will stop if I press the ECON button or turn it off but then its cold.
I first had it re-gassed and checked at kwik fit.
I then replaced the aircon compressor and had the exact same problem
I then replaced the belt and its still doing the same thing!
I am absolutely sick, it works fine but the noise is loud enough to have people in the passenger seat ask what that weird noise is and comment it doesnt sound healthy.
Could it be wiring/electrical or something? it doesnt make a noise when moving or im not sure if road noise blocks it out. At traffic lights its terrible.
Ideas?
