What i'm getting at is that it annoys me that for arguments sake 19 people view a thread no one responds as soon as i comment someone jumps on pretty much to tell me i'm wrong! I have no issue with anyone on here i like the forum But tbf i am in a foul mood and tired :-(

I'm tired too but not in a foul mood (yet) lol  ; )

I see your point but don't forget that the number of thread 'views' includes (I think) views by unregistered guests so not just bonafide forum members, and they are less likely to reply.

I think you're being a little paranoid tbh.  People reply when they can or when they have necessary info to hand.  I really don't think people (I certainly don't) sit there waiting for you to respond so they can jump in and condradict you, which appears to be what you're saying.  As for telling you you're wrong, that's an extreme way of seeing it.  Would you rather people kept quiet (which is the very thing you're complaining about) and didn't share info just because it might contradict your or anyone else's replies?

And maybe i have a form of ocd that i can't view a thread and not reply straight away

Nothing wrong with that and don't stop.  It's nice to have you back on here

I had no idea unregistered views counted, no i don't seriously think ppl are sitting n wait to rumble me

Thanks. Had one in my ED30, off a lad on the mk5 forum but cant remember who.

This is the one

Iirc, OSIR also do/did a RHD footrest cover but I think it was quite pricy but great quality.
...........thanks. Managed to find one with GTI on it.

Great. Not sure how you fixed your other one but if you don't fancy removing trim to screw it down with the supplied fixings, then self tapping screws are a good option.   The sticky backing alone won't hold it for long.

There was a guy on here use to sell them as well as the seat inserts. He was actually the first person to make them and alot of the rest are copys of his. I cannot for the life of me remember his username but he was still selling them on ebay the last time i checked. Ive had them on mine for 4 to 5 years now and they are good quality.
Maybe try a search as he use to advertise  in the classified section of here.

Edit
Gulfstream11 was his username and was also listed in his ebay adverts.

I hate getting old and forgetting things. :embarrassed:
