Does anybody know what the line is for on the drivers door mirror? Does it measure the outside temperature?

outside temp sender is in the front bumper, i think that line is where the angle/magnification of the reflection changes

I dont think it changes the angle or magnification on mine, it looks the same all the way across.. :undecided:

on my mirror the angle changes at this line and it gives u a wider field of view i.e. to virtually remove the blindspot....very handy when over taking chavs
