Springs and spacers
« on: 28 February 2015, 18:48 »
I'm dropping the car on some H&R supersports next week but think I'll need to space out the front and rear slightly.  I'm running stock monza shadows.

Any tips on what spacer sizes I'll need?

I've got some 15mm rear ones for sale if you're interested? I didnt like them, was abit too wide for my liking. I'm going to be purchasing 11mm ones instead, but there was a white gti in the dub mk6 projects section and he had supersports and 15mm on the rear and it looked good, maybe mine isnt quite low enough on just the h&r sports. They're brand new btw, only put em on just to see how they looked!

Why do you think you need spacers? Would only need spacers if you were changing the wheel to diff offset or fitting big brakes? Unless you just want to look fat then i'll get back in box

15mm sounds big but I may be interested.  I'll have a measure when the springs are fitted next week and get back to you

Only looking to space out for aesthetic reasons. When it's lower the tuck looks a bit daft to me.

I'm got them from a friend who had them brand new in a garage for the past 2 years
