Hi Everyone,

I have just ordered a mark 7 GTI. Have been told it will take around 16 weeks to arrive but not too worried. In the mean time il sit on here and look at everyone else's 

Iv ordered it with the performance pack and nav in white. If anyone has any general advice etc it would be appreciated.

Cant wait for it to arrive.

Welcome to the forum. White's a great colour (I'm biased) but does seem to get dirty very quickly in the winter months. Should be good in the summer though when the weather is better. I think my only advice would be to drive a car on 19s to make sure you're happy with the ride. Many people clearly are but you could also consider the DCC option to soften things up a little (although this also divides opinion).

The only mk7 GTI's in town are white ones so you'll blend in well!

Thanks guys, so inpatient these next few months are going to be painful. I called up earlier and put keyless on the order as well!!!!

Another Exeter owner? It is a pretty darn good place to live. Il be taking it up to dartmoor for a spin once iv run it in!!

Lots of good roads around these parts to get the most out of the car.

I'd throw in the rear camera and park assist on your order too. The camera is quite useful and park assist is hugely amusing!
