strangeness at 10,000 miled

Hi all,

Something strange happened today,I hit 10,000 miles and the display with my miles at the bottom right of the mfd turned into the trip reading. I'm not sure if this is by design but I can't get rid of it. I found my total miles more useful to be honest. Nothing in the manual about it.

Any ideas how to change the trip on the MFD back to total mile age?

The bottom right is always trip, so I think what has happened is you just finished a 10,000 mile single trip! That's the max so it has reset to 0 (same as me, as I never use the trip reset either.)

To see total mileage you can turn the ACC off from the steering wheel button and it should then show in the bottom left.
