Newbie - K04 HTA-65 Hybrid Turbo Golf GTI

Hi Guys,

Just joined so I thought I'd say Hi and introduce my car and some of the work done to it..

The Car started out as a standard 2009 Golf GTI with 210 BHP.. It is now running just about 400ish..

Here is what I've had done so far.

Engine

Owens Development K04 Turbo with HTA 65 wheel in it.
Forge uprated Actuator
Cam Chain Tensioner Revision
Uprated Lobo Fuel Pump
HPA Inlet Manifold
Aftermarket Throttle/Intake Pipe
REVO Induction Kit
R8 Coil-packs
REVO Stage 3 Software (Soon to be superseded but a Custom GIAC File)
Full Scorpion Exhaust with a custom Back box (So it would fit in the Golf R rear bumper conversion)
Forge BIG Intercooler

Must of cost a packet doing all that. Bet it goes like stink. Welcome oh and by the way ya motor looks awesome  :evil:

It was not cheap but running at 1.65 bar (with more to go) it's certainly a handful :)

That's quite a list of mods you've got there  :shocked:

Obviously a lot of effort, love and money lavished on this car.  It shows,  looks excellent  :cool:

Yes it has took some time to get it to this state, Certainly puts a smile on my face every time I drive it, Sounds awesome too :) Hoping to take it too a few events this year too  :smiley:

Was it the low pressure (In tank) pump you replaced?

Yes mate it was the low pressure one in the tank that was replaced, Ran a fair few VCDS logs on it and having the dash AFR gauge plus EGT's etc really helps me keep an eye on things...

When i get my replacement GIAC file this week it will be going on the dyne again then so I will post a graph up....

I had a stage 3 REVO K04 before it was pulling 370 before, this i would say has another 30 or 40 hp on top of that now..

Lets see.

I know I am pushing my luck on a stock block but I will be making sure my torque is limited to 400 lb if the Turbo will produce that...
