What would a 26k base model be worth after 12 months?

Just curious!

Around 75% of it's original list price, so £19.5k trade, or £24k on a dealers forecourt.

Yep, actual trade value with average to below mileage will be about £19k for a boggo one and maybe £20k for a Christmas Tree spec, £22k if a dealer is in a good mood or sniffs out a good deal.
Mine (3 door PP model with just nav and a couple cheapo options) that has a very low mileage and is 15months old books at between £18k and £19k realistically so a £1k difference in trade value at top book money for a dealer to play with, as it's pretty much mint condition with as new tyres.

Whether getting 36mpg for the past 17 months is grounds for rejection, on top of all other problems, will have to wait and see. but not happy with Durham branch, we also have a Tiguan bought new from there, we wanted the SE version which we had test driven, and were given a great deal on a show room model.
This was a SE model, but we found after picking it up, due to the fact it had 19" alloys, it comes with sport suspension set up, and the ride make your teeth fall out ! and she feels sick due to the ride, - and had no support from Pulman what so ever.
after 6 cars from Pulman over the years, I really don't want to go back

17 months on, you've realistically got no chance of rejection now. 36mpg is dire, but as it is i'm not doing much better at about 41mpg right now on my uncluttered 13 mile commute, but i'll freely admit I do give the car a bit of a hammering at times (comparable to my old Scirocco though, it is poor). My mpg is down 10% right now following a fill up on Asda's finest after about 5 consecutive tanks of BP. Very naughty of them giving you a sports suspension set-up SE rather than the standard one. I'd guess it was noticed almost straight away and they wouldn't let you bring it back?

I'm currently on 39.5 long term and that's with short journeys to work during the week and sometimes days out on a weekend. Am at 48 since last full up but that was after a jaunt to north Yorkshire and back.

Since I got the car, long term mpg has been around 36, weather hasn't affected consumption really.
Doing the same journey in my last mk6 GTD, I was averaging 46-48mpg, on a good run I'd get 56-60mpg.

Colder temperatures really affect the mk7 diesel. It knocks up to 10mpgs off.

I basically get around 350 - 360 miles out of a tank of fuel when filled. (tried various fuels too)
Hopefully they may find out what the problem is next week, but not holding out much hope.
I've tried the car in sport, normal and eco, and always end up with the same figures
Car regens usually every 2 weeks, not sure what everyone elses does? but I do approx. 200 miles per week Monday to Friday, sits on drive over weekend.

Have you tried using millers diesel additive? how often do you check your tyres and has it been back for the handbrake update?

Have you tried letting your wife or someone else drive the car?

It could easily be something that you are doing (sub conciously)
