clock and trip computer reseting itself
« on: 12 February 2015, 22:09 »
Hello. I just used my fob to to open my car and it worked fine. Then when I started it, it sounded like it made a funny noise. I then noticed that the clock and trip computer was reset. The interior light doesn't work and when I went to lock it my after market alarm and central locking didn't work. Anyone any ideas on what it could be? Thanks.

Sounds like a loose connection, possibly on battery or one of the leads going to the battery connectors, the one's that are held on with 6mm nuts (10mm spanner)

Could be faulty battery. Voltage goes too low and dash resets.

Thanks for the help. The problem was a blown fuse luckily. Thought it would of been a lot worse.

I would still get your battery tested.

Happened to me a couple a of times, but it looks like you've found the offending fuse.
