AGU replacing vac pipes
« on: 11 February 2015, 15:35 »
Hi. Im new to the 1.8t engine and my english is not perfect so please excuse me. My question is about the vac pipes that i can replace with blue silicone hoses. Which are the pipes in the engine that i have to replace with the silicone one? I search all over the web but there is nothing about AGU engine. As far as i know these are the vac lines that can be replaced:
-FPR (fuel pressure regulator)
-Boost Solenoid (i don't know what is this and if my engine has it)
-Brake Booster ( also don't know where is it located)
-Boost lines ( which are they?)
-Diverter valve (I guess its the pipe that goes from the top of the dv to under intake manifold)
-N249 (AGU doesn't have this)

And is there any way to test for a bad ignition coil with vag com cause i have random misfires? Also is there a way to check lambda values on AGU like in other engines in block 032. AGU don't have 032 block in vag com.

Crudely done but this should give you an idea on a few of them -

Ignore the 'help's'

The stock diverter valve is missing from this engine bay / has been relocated
the fuel pressure regulator has one vacuum line going into it from under the inlet manifold
boost pipes follow the inlet pipe all around the side of the car
boost solenoid has a vacuum pipe going down to actuator, one pipe connected to tip, forgot where the other one went.

Not sure on your other problems though.

Some of this may be wrong, so please correct me if you find a problem.
