I did notice somewhere in the menus of the disco nav pro the word codec? maybe new codecs can be added as there was a revert back to defaults codecs or something.. sorry to hijack.

I'm sure its theoretically possible - probably underneath all the trimmings is actually a Unix device, but tampering with it is going to be neigh on impossible without some serious hardware hacking.

FLAC works from an SD card in the Discovery Pro  :smiley:

Not burned a disc to see if it'll play them from there. Oddly the manual makes no mention of FLAC capability but it does work very nicely indeed.
