What to do

Ok here`s my problem,if thats what it is.Im in posession of a mk 3 ahu tdi with 90 thou on it,engines sweet new clutch,waterpump,timimg belt,steering pump,but the bodys shot.I have be offered for free a mint bodied mk 4 from a relative with a completely knackerd engine.So i know the engine fits but,to much work???

Not worth doing, electronics are very different and will be massive job to sort out.

Buy a tidy bodied mk3 and swap that over, it's not worth the hassle of doing anything with a mk4

I woukd look for a cheap tidy mk3 and swap everything over.
