Headlamp level motors,voltage ???

Hi all.I have a few headlight levelling units that i would like to test off of the car if poss.They have 3 pin connections on the back so i'm taking it the middle is live and the outers are negative.

Anyone know if it's possible to test these off of the car and how to do it,voltage etc ?.

That help?



Valid signal to pin 2 should be 8 to 12V. Pin 1 is 12V+ (actually 12V from dipped beam), pin 3 is GND.
