It's a fair cop, although I might have to after being accused of an affair with a drying towel

I can imagine someone disgracing themselves and painting one in a ridiculous colour

Do like the limestone grey, need to see one in the flesh.

Stop stroking it (the drying towel) and go pay your wife some attention

I saw a bog standard golf in limestone grey the other day and it looked very nice, enough to turn my head.  Ajmoir's limestone R in mk7 section looks lovely, better than pink

Yes fair comments, I fell foul of the colour fastness or lack of. I now have largely pink detailing cloths, hence the instruction label.

Well I'm glad it wasn't just me

As we speak I have a 'red wash' waiting to go in the machine following Sunday's car cleaning.

Btw Neil, the WoWo micro fibre cloths are very good, for many jobs but particularly for buffing off wax/polish.  At first I thought they could do with being of a heavier weight (as you did) but, having used them a few times now I actually think they are better in many respects because they're thinner.   Polished up my tail pipes up a treat

Thanks for the feedback Bec, I've felt the same about them for a while. The tighter weave gives better buffing properties it appears.

My new Wo Wo lambswool mitt and drying towel arrived today. They look like pretty decent pieces of kit. Hope the weather holds out for me to give them a test run this w/e!

Give the Microfibre Madness Incredimitt a chance when you are looking for a new one. Absolutely brilliant.
