Wiper problem

Hi got a strange problem with wipers now! Intermittent wipe is no longer "intermittent" ... It's now full speed , anyone had this problem?, it has the switch on the stalk that is supposed to change the intermittent speed but no matter where it's positioned the wipers are on fastest speed !! Any help appreciated

Had your windscreen replaced by any chance? If the rain sensor on the windscreen wasn't replaced or has become faulty, the control module will just make the wipers work at full speed.

Hi no not had screen replaced, so maybe a dodgy sensor ?
