It's an isolated for the car alarm I think, so you can leave moving things inside whilst you lock the car (Dogs, babies etc) not long term obviously just when you need to nip out. I've never used it though and I've had mine 11 months now.

I noticed today i have one of those buttons , cool ! So i can leave my Grand Daughter and the pit bull in there for a few hours when i'm busy with other things then  :shocked: :grin: :grin:
