So I'm seriously thinking of going down the 20vt route, and have been doing plenty of homework as there's loads of info out there, the problem I'm having is that the info I'm finding is for post 87 mk2's, or 90' spec. I've sourced an early AGU engine and gearbox, and the gearbox is a cable change, 6 speed which will be a bonus. Down side is I'm thinking I'll have to change shafts n hubs, maybe gearbox mounts?!? (Unless I can use the mk2 box?)Anyways, the info I cant seem to find is regarding the ECU, fusebox wiring, coil pack. Pre 87 yes, post 87, no! Car electrics is normally where I get all dazed n confused so just looking for, you guessed it, some help from anyone whos done a 20vt conversion into an 87 or earlier mk2. As always, ta in adv!!
