RNS510 poor radio

Hi having some problems with my rns510.. i used to have a rcd310 so thought it would be a straight swap.
I'm getting very poor FM signal and both ant are off

Check the wires into the harness which plugs into the back of your unit, also check the pins in the unit as well. Could be a few faulty/damaged connections. I think there's wiring diagrams in the Haynes manual to help isolate specific wires for each item (power, signals ect.).

Electrical faults suck, wish you luck!

Hi. It's not the cd changer that Troubles me it's the poor signal I get on the radio.  Could they be linked ?

Possibly, my Kenwood unit has to have an additional power feed to the aerial booster unit, you may have a similar think with your stereo but I've never worked with one so unsure.
