Should floor mats come with the GTI?

Hello one and all.

I have just recently taken delivery of a GTI 'Performance Pack' in France... and what a lovely thing she is!

Anyway, I have started looking to see if I can find any decent floor mats and have realised that, when looking at VW's website (in France anyway) it states that "fabric floor mats" are a standard item "front and rear".

My question is if this is indeed the case. When any of you GTI owners have received your GTIs did they come with the red-trimmed and logo'd GTI floor mats?

I appreciate your feedback.

They're standard here in the UK.

Normal mats supplied "free" in the UK market, no snazzy red edging or GTI logos, Just plain black with anthracite trim.

Thank you both for the quick reply. Time to contact the dealer and ask what happened to them... in my best French!!!
