I know your pain David. My company gave me a spare V40 1.6D to use from ordering my GTD in October until delivery in January. It wasn't a bad car but the Golf is in a different league.
I opted for the Pro Nav and it has a fantastic feature for anyone with a company fuel card. As soon as the fuel light comes on it will automatically direct you to the nearest garage you can use after setting up your preferred brand depending on your fuel card.
Very handy when you find yourself running low in unfamiliar territory!!

Well the March countdown begins  :smiley:

I'll be contacting the lease company mid march in the hope it's arrived early, then it'll be full on pester mode.

Can't wait.

Now to go check the cleaning products I have, and look into best ones for white cars.

Not a bad wax, easy to apply and remove, but I find the protection only lasts around 3-4 months even with a double coating. Nothing like the 12 months advertised.

The car is due at the dealer n the 31st March

Talking to the lease company they quote a week on top to register and sort the paperwork.

So looking at 1st or 2nd week of April.

It's here!!!!!

Was delivered yesterday, looked stunning.

Drive home was good if not a tad nervous with lorries seemingly aiming for me.

Anyhow, started going through all the controls, setting up Dynaudio and Bluetooth etc.

Also had a 'little' blast last night, pleasantly surprised how quick it feels.

Will give it a proper clean over the weekend then post up some pics.
