It is a bit of a strange and sick place for which there seems no known cure. The virus mainly permeates from the top right down to some of the members who are so arrogant, ignorant and blinkered that for them there is no other worthwhile car but the Golf 7R.

But we can but hope that with the new owners things might improve.

Kim Jong-Un has forgiven them but seems to have stripped them of all colour. So, the R Forum is back but with a very depressingly odd and naked look.

Maybe they're experimenting with soothing graphics to stop all the radginess?

I agree it is crazy money for a shopping trolley. But would you rather buy an Aldi Hearse instead?

No but I have been trying to talk myself out of keeping the mk6, selling everything else, and buying this

The Cayman GTS is a fabulous car. Nearly did the same but saw sense due to impracticality and got the R instead.

Thats why i would keep the mk6. Its only done 12k and been a fine weather car so still like new!.  85% of the week i am in the car by myself so a car like a cayman would be fine for me. The rest of the time the practicality of the mk6 would be used, or in winter it would be used. Rather risk a 12k car in winter than a 40k car. So even if I got a mk7 R I would have something for winter use.
Anyway its like old times,  off topic again....
There are some nice photos over there of mk7 Rs, looks good in red, black and blue.
Seems quite a few teenage owners.
