Hey guys, need a little bit of advice. So almost 3 years ago i took delivery of my MK6 GT TDI 2.0. I had planned all along to pay the final payment and keep it. But over the past few months I have noticed a problem which seems to be within the dual mass flywheel. I think I may have spoke about it on this forum but basically sometimes when its cold, as im coming off the clutch in first gear i get quite a bad shuddering, the kinna shuddering you would get if the engine was going to konk out. This would last for a few minutes, every time i come off the clutch in first then it would disappear as she warms up.
I took it to the dealer and they told me the flywheel is indeed shuddering but is not bad enough for VW to pay for a replacement as it is costly (around 3k i believe) The guy said to bring it in a few weeks early for its service before the warranty runs out and we will "go from there". I dont want to keep this car if VW are not going to replace this for me as I will be getting hit with a huge bill. I probably should have argued the point that it is not normal for a car not even 3 years old needing this sort of work done.
What should i doooooooooo :/
