I don't think the ps3s were in that 17" autoexpress test and looking at all the sites they are rated at 72 which is exactly the same as the conti 5s. I must say i do love the conti 2s and would go conti 5 but seeing as the ps3s work out at 85 quid each i don't think they'll they be any different to the conti 5s.

I'd still pick Conti 5's over these.  Can't you order online and wait a week or so till they arrive?

I agree. The PS3 tyres are very noisy (noisiest tyre in 17" size) and rank No.5 for 18" size.

French Company Pneus (pneu means tyre in French) has some reasonable deals. I have used them before. It is also a good site to read customer reviews regarding each make of tyre. The Michelin PSS shows its true elevated colours.

Well I'll be getting 2 new Conti 5s (19s) too in next couple weeks.  My current fronts have now got nearly 14k on now (1st set lasted 13k).  Just checked them and they are just over 3mm so time to change.  Knew it was coming, but not exactly thrilled about having to spend £300 on new tyres 2/3 months before the car goes
