Daily trip computer reset to longterm
« on: 03 December 2014, 07:48 »
Can anyone help?? I have a MK7 GTi with the standard fitted satnav/computer that gives driving data etc. I used to get each trip's mileage/time/MPG etc but it has switched over to 'since refuel' and just accumulates mileage time for each trip. I have tried looking through the 'War & Peace' manual but to be honest I don't know where to start?? I have tried using the stalks, the menu, settings but can't see anywhere to set back to daily usage.
Any help would be appreciated
Thank you

With the computer showing the average MPG press the silver select button. This will change the readout between trip, since refuel, and long term.

As Andrew said, when on the average MPG screen, pressing the "OK" button in the centre of the right hand side steering wheel button cluster will cycle from since start, Since refuel and long term MPG figures.

Hi Guys well I've done it but just pressing the OK button on the right side didn't make any difference...in desperation I pressed LH & RH buttons together and that seems to have worked
Thanks for your responses to my question
