Active Cruise and brake lights

HI there

Was out in the car today using ACC.....question....when slowing down do the brake lights come on..??
I get the impression they dont always? But could be wrong..?

If the ACC needs to brake to control your speed, then yes, the brake lights will come on. If the speed can be controlled by the car lifting off the throttle then the brake lights won't come on.

The brake lights coming on or not should be exactly the same when using ACC as it would be if you were driving.
