Error code help please lads.

Engine managment light on, checked code via vag and these two codes come up

17526 - O2 sensor heater circ, bank-sensor 2 open
17606 - O2  sensor  heater circ, bank sensor 2 electrical malfunction

Is this an easy or expensive fix? If so, is it just a matter of changing the 1 sensor or is it two i dividual problems, sorry If this is a dumb question I  have no idea  when it comes to sensors etc.

Wiring/Connectors from/to Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 Heating faulty
Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 Heating Circuit faulty

Possible Solutions
Check Wiring/Connectors from/to Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 Heating
Check Oxygen (Lambda) Sensor Bank 1 Sensor 2 Heating Circuit

17606 -

Possible Causes
Failed O2 sensor heater circuit
Wiring Harness issue
Failing ECM

Possible Solutions
Inspect and test O2 sensor heater circuit as per repair manual
Inspect and test wiring harness as per wiring diagram
Replace ECM if O2 sensor and wiring harness are to factory design

Going off that it looks like it could be a cheap fix, or an expensive fix, it just depends on which of the problems it actually is

Dammmmmmm looks like ill need to take it to the local garage and see what they say fingers crossed its a simple fix

Would it be easier just to change the sensor? ?

If you can't see any wire breaks then thats what i'd do, you might even be able to return it if it isn't the problem

Last questions were is the sensor located? ?

There is a post cat and a precat oxygen sensor

This is a pretty in depth guide on how to replace them, not too sure which one you need though
