Late to the party here but all the dealer will have to do is set everything back to factory standard for your chassis.
When my first mk6 GTI went back in p/x I took the LED tails off but couldn't remember the VCDS settings, thankfully the normal bulbs worked ok still but the lights other than brake lights were just a tiny bit dimmer than they were before.
So off the car went and it's probably still running around now with mildly dim rear lights! Not to mention a 'switched out' REVO map…
