Lol, I went to fill up today, was queued back down the road. Went back 10mins later and there was no queue!! Pulled in thinking they must have run out of fuel, waited for one car to refill then got in and put a tankful of optimax in!

Last at midnight the queue was half a mile long in Pitsea, Essex. I can see a petrol station from my office window and it has 15-20 cars queing since 8.45 this morning.

The thing most of the people panic buying are flipping happy shoppers that use car for 50 miles a week! I do 350miles a week minimum and can't get any bloody fuel! I don't mind doing the mileage as means I get to spend loads of time in my GTi, kicking the ar5e out of her. No fuel means no driving:( Hardley any fuel means I get drive her like a GTi coz she drinks fuel like I drink lager!

Ive got my golf filled up, my mums bora (shes away for two weeks) filled with diesil and my newly aquired 1.0 Metro (bah!) is filled, I figure i can drive the metro for about 5 months until it runs out, then ill have about two weeks after that till the bora runs dry, then about 15 minites of driving the golf until the entire tanks dissapears lol.

Why not intruduce a minimum purchase of £20? Should at least stop those that are just topping up :undecided:
