petrol, panic buying

went to me local pants filling station, not one i normally use but i was that low on fuel darnt rick even driving 2 miles!, got there price 99.9p per litre, 7p cheaper than another localish place..... the reson... cause they cant fit any more than 3 digits and a decimal point on there boards!! pants petrol but the mk4 is now brim filled so i can sit back a know i can get to the place thats fitting me goodies on thursday

wasnt a rush buying though, i didnt have to queue or owt

Down in lovely old Merthyr Tydfil our local Asda ran out of petrol yesterday!!

Also in Morrisons some idiot ran down one of the staff who were trying to direct the traffic into the station!!

It's crazy here!! 

Had to queue this morning for petrol....anyone thinks the bloody world is ending!!

i had an empty tank on saturaday so i just filled the tank up, glad i did now as everywhere near me is running out and people queing!! ive also got a very slow puncture on my rear tyre and i needed to go and put some air in it yesterday, but i cant even get near the petrol station unless i que for 45mins!!! just for air!!!

What gets me is seeing people sitting there not moving for ages queuing for petrol with their engines running 
I think some people have the MAD MAX attitude like back in the 70s when there was a fuel shortage.....use up 10 ltrs of petrol just to get 1ltr sorta thing

Hmmm I'm not gonna give into it, will be running a bit low tomorrow on way home from work so will try filling up then as usual, could be a very naive attitude but I hate becoming sucked into panic buying of anything.
HOWEVER sunday I've gotta make a long trip in my bus (which aint very economical) to pick up a folding garage to store the golf in this winter. If anything comes between me and the golf protection then I will be mad!!!

the petrol strike back in 2000 wasnt too bad for me a my old XR2 could run on unleaded or LRP so i was alright back then... but now i just hope the strike and panic buying doesnt go on for too long

I went past a local petrol station yesterday and ther were people filling up jerry cans.......how bloody ridiculous
