19" Pretorias - Black

VW.de configurator is showing the 19's in Black as an option now - may be of some interest to other R buyers/those just ordered - no idea if they'll be available in the UK however.

I saw a set on ebay.de about a week ago. At the time I was wondering if they were snides or maybe someone had powder coated the standard ones.

The pic on the configurator still shows them in silver  so I'd be reallly interested to see what they look like on a car.  All pie in the sky however as no guarantee they'll be offered as an option over here, however I would certainly be considering them.

Can't find them now on ebay.de - both sets for sale must have been sold. They wanted 2500 Euros (about £1980) for a set of 4 including Continental tyres

Yes, I just had a search and couldn't see them either.

I can guarantee you I won't be paying 2 grand if it's an option

If you can't get blacks over here (i'm sure you'll be able to post BW45, you could change your order to Cadiz, pay the £2k and sell your Cadiz for whatever they go for (i'm guessing about £1100 inc tyres).

I'm too lazy to do that    I'd just stick with the silver 19s.  As my R will be Reflex Silver I really need to see a pic (or mock up) of how they'd look prior to speccing them anyway.  Any news on a BW for yours?  Mine's moved back to 9 so looks like I'm looking at an April delivery

If you can't get blacks over here (i'm sure you'll be able to post BW45, you could change your order to Cadiz, pay the £2k and sell your Cadiz for whatever they go for (i'm guessing about £1100 inc tyres).

Yes, I haven't pestered mine at all either - after last time I also thought I'd leave mine alone.  Saying that, a 7 month wait is a bit of a joke, so I may ramp up the calls nearer to Xmas as I get more impatient

I've asked about a BW but they don't even have a tracking number for it yet .
