Anyone wanna take my bcs downpipe off my hands? Still on the car but will be coming off Saturday 14th and being replaced...

http://www.powervalve.co.uk/products/vw/golf/mk7/golf-mk7-2-0-tfsi-gti-2013/vw168-downpipe-with-200-cell-motorsport-cat-and-link-pipe-to-fit-oem-system-with-heat-wrap-system-options-sports-system.html

Comes with the flex but not heat wrapped (not sure why you'd need it wrapped either) so thats £649.99 new. Obviously this is a year old now, but what do you reckon would be a reasonable amount for it?

I assume then this is a no lol?

Very few people seem to be modding cars here at the moment. I guess anyone who wants more power these days just leases an R for 50p a month and puts up with basic spec and red paint?
Even I can't be bothered with it all anymore. Maybe the car is just too good as standard? Maybe we've all been brainwashed and turned really dull?

They've traditionally had a bit more fire in their belly for such things!
Assuming it will fit and R too? I'd think most petrolheads would be R drivers by now and surely not *all* if them are leased?  :laugh:
Might be worth a punt where R owners hang out as well as cupranet.

Good point!
Audi's bore me senseless so I'd forgotten the S3 even existed!

Will the Milltek Downpipe for a Mk7 GTI fit the MK7 R then? I know someone who's selling one as he's sold his GTI after his turbo exploded at Stage 2 (be careful Graham) :D
Current - MK7 Golf GTI - Tornado Red, 5 Door, DSG, Performance Pack, Dynamic Chasis Control, Panoramic Sunroof, Discover Navigation, Dynaudio.

On Order - MK7 Golf R - Pearlescent Black, 3 Door, DSG, Vienna Leather, Discover Nav Pro, Rear View Camera, High Beam Assist, Keyless Entry, Dynaudio (Tech Pack)

All gone.

Now;

MK7 Golf R - Lapiz Blue, 5 Door, DSG, Carbon Nappa, Discover Nav Pro.

The sooner it goes boom the sooner i stick a MAhoosive turbo on it!! Shark do monthly installments don't you know lol#

I asked BCS and they said the gti and the curpa were the same, but i cant see what would be so different on the R and S3, its only the dp section, surely its the same layout. Has anyone got a picture of the underneath, does the awd system get in the way?

I'm pretty sure there's pics of underneath both cars on Millteks site;

It's true everyone does seem to be cautious with tuning their Mk7's. I think talk of TD1 has scared everyone to death aswell as the turbo recall on GTI's in the US and the few that have blown on R's at stock.

Just looked. Hard to see but the Downpipe seems to follow the same shape up to the resonator but then after that the centre pipe is completely different. (On the R)
