Best to ask a customer exhaust garage, should £200 then. And that set up... loud lol, might as well remove the exhaust entirely

Haha :D Yes it might be a little extreme I guess. Would probably get pulled over for noise pollution :D

I might make a few calls to my local custom exhaust bloke to see if he can remove it. Better money spent than the turbo delete.

Yeah I meant custom not customer lol. Shouldn't be a problem, mufflerectomy's are quite common for tdis so it shouldnt be their first.

So fitted the insert wednesday, not really had chance to drive it far since but initial reports are good. Barely any extra vibration, cant actually feel anyway while driving, a little more on start up and reverse. Dont know if im going mad but car sounds/feels better now its in.... anyway not had chance to test the effect its had on hopping-ness but its definitely worth it simply for the nicer gear changes (manual obvs) 1st to 2nd is so much better now, probably just bad skill on my part in the past but feels so much crisper.

Just wondering how is the insert behaving Graham FR

Well I did think that after lube had chance to come off it would vibrate more but tbh I haven't noticed any change. I'm used to it now and could honestly see myself getting further mounts as well. At the price it is id certainly recommend it, just remember it's only a minor mod.

Has it helped with wheel hop?

Wheel hop has been reduced even in these conditions. However typically useless with me, let's not forget my eagles will be well and truly bedded in now too. Honestly if it was priced in an APR fashion id say avoid but I'm happy as it is.

Running Eagles asymetric 2 I assume! I am replacing all 4 rubbers soon and are thinking seriously about these, as I have always liked eagles and the best price I have found is £153 per corner. I have P zeros at the moment. I am also considering
DMAK Kinetic S as a punt, but I don't know the price yet

R coming in March and fancy spacers, 10mm front 15 rear. Few questions here for people who have them currently or used before:

- Is H & R the best spacers and do i buy them direct from their site?
- Do i need to buy longer bolts from H & R or do they come with the spacers?

Thanks

Seems they do two systems DR and DRA. DR need longer bolts, the others don't as they bolt to the hub and then you bolt the wheel to that. Don't know which is better tho. H&R or eibach if you want a named brand is what id go for but so long as you go for some decent hubcentric ones you'll be fine, mine haven't snapped off yet for instance
