Millsy, I was thinking about this the other day, why don't you try over at SCN, in my experience more SEAT owners wanna modify than VW's and im sure you'll get plenty of volunteers

Thank you for the Heads up, I'm already a member on there as I own a LCR, So I'll have a look in to it. But as these are made for the Mk7 Gti I was hoping to build the interest on the mk7 forums. To be honest there isn't much testing needed and would work well for anyone looking to Remap and especially for any Stage 2 mappers.

In theory yes as its the same set up, That said these haven't been tested on a Seat as of yet and were fabricated on a Mk7 gti. But I shall definitely look in to it. I haven't looked in to the new Seat Cupra's that much tbh. Which mk3 shares the same turbo as the mk7 gti?

Hmm well actually none of them, so you may have a point there, as if the turbo is bigger then it might not fit the downpipe, unless the exhaust outlets are the same size and its the turbine housing thats just larger... but investigation may be necessary.

In the UK, no other car has the same turbo i think, I know in the US there is an A3 with the same turbo but thats about it.

Yeah its always been the same case with the Vw vs Seats.. The Seats normally always offer more bang for your buck. But I shall investigate further. But for the time being if there is anyone interested on here please drop me an email. millsy_4@hotmail.co.uk .

The muffler delete looks like its going to improve the airflow but if its actually a problem that needs solving im not sure....??
Im looking FWD to APR's exhaust system release....they normally put a lot of R&D into their systems.

Well I emailed APR last week about where I could get one of these as my car is going in for tuning 1/11 and I'd like to have it installed before it goes in. Very excited I can tell you! However as of yet no word back from them, think i'll give them a call today.

ok impatience strikes again, just bought the muffler delete from here http://www.ecstuning.com/Volkswagen-Golf_VII--2.0T_Gen3/Search/SiteSearch/Muffler/ES2792807/ only £20odd delivery to UK, cant really argue with that unless it comes out in the UK much cheaper lol then i'll shout at myself. Will put up picks when it arrives etc

we have one problem with that.... car goes for intercooler and remap 1st nov... unless I take up the mantle to fit this myself i will never be able to tell the difference, aww feck it, if it comes before 1st ill go the local greasemonkey and chuck him a crate of beer to fit it and let you know
