Fitting genuine mudflaps
« on: 04 October 2014, 11:14 »
I know there a marmite item but I like them and they serve a purpose so I've bought some genuine VW mudflaps.

I've read a few threads about fitting them and they mention you having to drill your bumper yet the instructions that came with the flaps  don't mention nor show any drilling at any point.

Has anyone fitted these? Any help guys or girls.

When you offer the rear flaps up, it's very apparent where you need to drill.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

I have only fitted front ones, like you say marmite item but I've always had them.

I managed to get them fitted without taking the wheel off and just went from lock to lock to do either side.
