Window Blinds - OE or aftermarket

Whose got some blinds fitted, last 2 cars I ran them, but they had a join ( 2 piece )  in the rear window.

I am lead to believe the VW blind is a one piece set up ?

Your car has privacy glass tho' 

I had one of the very first sets from OEM Sunshades in my B5.5 Passat. They were great, but as the kids got bigger, they started to complain about them, saying they weren't babies anymore. I took them out and and the car looked so wrong, so had the windows tinted to match the factory privacy glass.

yep, but not dark enough, after 4 years of blinded rear cars I want it back to normal

and kids aint an issue for me, all grown up, and as i am soon going thru divorce #2

Does the GT not come with auto dimming rear view mirror?
I know mine had it but I can't remember if it was an added extra.
Certainly stops being blinded from the rear.

Yes it does. GT's had the Convenience Pack, which was auto lights and wipers along with the dimming mirror.

vectra had BLINDS in can still see in the G6, so was going to fit blinds too !

If the rear glass is not dark enough for your liking why not get it tinted darker, better than blinds

Ran tinted cars for years.

Blinds are better, especially when having to reverse in/out of dark alleys  which I sometime frequent
