bit of a odd noise when stationary

hello people
 so when im stationary in traffic i somtimes get a 'ding ding ding_________ding ding ding' kinda noise. it does it when the clutch is engaged or not. it seems to be linked to the brake peddle being pressed. the noise is quite faint and i cant ever seem to hear it when actually looking in the bay.
im not really sure where to start with this one.
any one got any ideas?

ill have a look tomorrow when i get a chance. thanks for the suggestions.
it will be going for its yearly service fairly soon so could get them to have a look when its in for that.

I had this problem and found it went away when i put my foot down but that was'nt a suitable cure.

I ended up having to let her out of the boot and gave her some bus fare.
