Low profile jack
« on: 26 September 2014, 12:01 »
Looking to get a new jack, budget up to a round £100. What is a good jack for this price and where from. Want low entry and high lift. If I could get lightweight also that would be a bonus?

Not sure this is a mk2 specific question but something like this would do it:

http://www.amazon.co.uk/CLARKE-SADDLE-ALUMINIUM-MOTORSPORT-TROLLEY/dp/B0036UWMRK/ref=pd_sxp_grid_pt_0_2

Realise that one is a little more but I got a very similar one from costco a while back for around £90 - think they still have them as far as I'm aware.

I've just seen this thread on the Mk2OC Facebook page and someone was saying the Clarke jacks don't last. In my experience I've had good results with Clarke tools but I've never used one of their jacks.
