Got a noise coming from front driver side wheel

hi therei have a mk4 golf gti 2.0 52 plate. ive got a squeak coming from the front driver side wheel when I break, doing my head in, got a little nock coming from same side aswell think its track rod end but not sure, when I start my car its got  strange noise thinks its comeing from the pully and after start some other daft little noise starts but only for a few seconds does anyone know what these problems are thank you.  thanks

I have a similar sound on mine, just started this weekend... after the car starts from warm, i can hear a knoocking and tapping... afte a little investigation it looks like the auxilary tensioner is rattelling :/

These seem wuite cheep on ebay, but after major surgery i wont be doing the work my self... so off ot a guarage...

I'll post a video tomorrow and see if its the same thing...

Noise vanishes after a few seconds and drives fine?

ctually, after visiting a guarage yesterday i found out that the knocking noise is related to the Aircon pump

when its knocking switch you aircon off/on and see if the noise is still there
