clock coding and key question
« on: 24 September 2014, 10:26 »
Looking for somebody who can code clocks in manchester? Any recommendations?

Also wanted to know if the key for boot release can be coded into a new key using vag com.. and to get the ignition key working for it would it mean buying a brand new key fob and getting the key cut then coded? 2nd hand fob won't work, right?

Wow. Crazy you just commented on this as I just came on here now to re post about this.

I tried contacting that dave from stockport a number of times but no reply. Pretty ignorant guy.

I found a guy in wigan but he wants £40. Maybe he will do a discount if both of us need it doing if nobody else is in the area?

Good timing eh lol

What's that £40 for? Fitting, coding, and any extras like mte and lit needles and that stuff?

The clocks I bought haven't arrived yet but apparently they already have lit needles, mte and welcome message enabled.. Also the secret key code has been retrieved so I'm hoping it may make the coding cheaper lol..

Btw make it 3 people since my mate also bought some clocks and needs them coded up too.

Wigan a bit of a trek but if no one else is knockin about round here, might have to do..

Let me know if you contact him please :)

Yeah will message him. I was looking for about £20 as the going rate so holding out as long as possible before he rapes me.

I've message a bunch of people who look to be in possession of vagtacho which I found on vcds maps over a few forums (vwaudiforum, audisport, ukmkivs)

Will let you know if I get anyone closer for a decent price.
