debadged and delocked boot

2 questions.
Thinking about going down this route with either in car switch or new key fob.
My concern is that I have delocked front doors and at the min if my battery runs out on key fob my only way to unlock car is go through boot.
1 - If I put a delock on boot can I get in? (I worry about this sh!t.)
2 - Will a switch inside the car only work if the car is unlocked or can people smash window when car is locked and flick the switch to open boot?

I'm de locked the hole way round and it happened to me. But it was my own fault. The battery in the key was on the way out buy I never changed it had loads of warnings. If I'd just changed it I would not had any bother. I've a switch aswell on the inside but realy if they smash a window and want in the boot they can pull the seats down

suppose if battery goes you can just go get a spare or something, never thought of that.
Although if in middle of night in middle of nowhere you're a little f**ked, right?

Yip, I was lucky it was at my house. Bent the top of the door open with a pump air bag and hit the button to pop the boot.

didnt you just replace the battery in the fob?
just had a look into it and can get jump posts to add under car for jump starting if batt goes dead. and for the keys its either replace battery or smash window by the looks of it

There was some reason to why I couldn't do that as the second set of keys I had with a good battery wouldn't work as well. Can't remember what know.
