A single person's question about Mk 6 GTI reversing light....?

Please can you help.

I have a Mk 6 GTI. A friend pointed out that I only have one reversing light on, when I reverse.

Is this normal, or does the Mk 6 GTI have two reversing lights and one is broken?

Single reversing light. The one on the other side is a single fog light.

Single and they are awful don't light up anything

You need a Cibie bolted on the back.

Was that " Thanks a lot"  or " Thanks a lot"  ?? The Cibie is one of those rather exclusive spot lights that you stuffed on the front of a rally car. Back in the day you used to drill the back bumper and that was your reversing light...turned night into day. Now that was a reversing light!

It was a friendly "All, thank you humbly very much for letting me know, I just have one reversing light." Not interested in turning it into a rally car with additional lights, spoilers, pimping my ride rap artist extras, sun strips, nor fluffy dice....
