Sweet

I raced my friends chipped 2.0 16v today and was faster !

I'm WELL up for this boys, i really need to know what bhp/ft lbs it's kicking out. I've had too many people telling me i've built the wrong engine! "It doesn't have enough valves!"

I was up against a 2.0 8v, at pod, we were neck and neck up until about 3k in 3rd gear then i started to pull away. Quick little motors though accl wise.  Providing i can get mine running again in that time i will bring it, other than that it might end up being an old oil burner.

If we're short on numbers, i don't mind paying a little extra to have 3-4 goes? Ideally i'd like to get a read out with my vernier at TDC then at +1 then -1. If i get another go the i'll adjust it to 2 degrees in whichever way it responds better

But if i can't - then 2 goes are enough!

I was well chuffed with my 14.6 - now i need to know how my engine done it!

Ok, date has been changed to Sat 26th November. I will start a new post in the next day or so once I have a few more details.

Mr V Wagon - sure, lets see how the numbers turn out. Will also be using your idea of a deposit to fix the turnout a bit better :)
