Front wiper motor

Hey guys the front wipers on the golf have gone really slow, so having read around I'm guessing the linkage or motor is knackered. I know how to change it over but wondered if all mk4s have the same set up as I can pick one up cheap. Or are they model specific.

If anyone has part numbers that would be great too!

Yeah its the  linkage sized, common fault.

we took the 1 out a 1.4 to fix mine so guess they fit all mk4s

I am pretty sure the one I put in my Mk4 was exactly the same as the one I put in the A4 (B5) I had previously.

I cost 2/3 as much though. They must print that Audi logo on their spares in pure gold or something...

Sweet cheers boys. I've just seen one off a 1.4 for peanuts. Not paying mince tax for the gti name.
