Water in boot lid
« on: 14 September 2014, 07:56 »
Hi there I'm new to forum having recently picked up a red 59 reg mk6 gti dsg with 18" monzas and leather. Loving the car other than a slight niggle of water in the tailgate which of course then tracks to the spare wheel well.

I found this on you tube which is exactly as I experienced.

Anybody had the same and fixed it, or any ideas? I don't believe it's the washer tubes as all appears to be fine and water isn't screen wash.

Thanks in advance.

I would have thought that that either the tail lights or boot seal at fault, provided its definitely not screen wash fluid I know mattyj had a broken screen wash line on his GTD.
