It doesn't really matter what other people think of them does it? You've got them now, so surely you can decide yourself.
Red Mk6 gone replaced with a white Mk7 which has gone too. Green Mk2 here to stay.

Tell everyone else how they are once you have driven them in

Theyre classed as a budget tyre and have mixed reviews.

Look them up on this site

Better to stick with well known brands against ditch finders

they have been on four days now and tbh they seem just fine. quiet and not harsh on potholes. wayne I have seen many "branded tyres" with serious flaws in them well before the tread has had a chance to wear away so its not a dead cert that you get what you pay for these days.

That may be, but when all you have holding you to the road at 70+ mph is 4 rubber bands, I'm not sure I would risk a brand nobody has heard of. My life is worth more that an extra £100 in my opinion
It's a mk2. Fill it, drive it, enjoy it.

How they perform in a straight line and going over potholes (which I avoid anyway) isn't what I would rate a tyre on. When it's grip, or sliding into a tree round a corner is when a tyre comes into play.

hey if your avoiding all the potholes you will never be driving in a straight line anyway . potholes are just another everyday reminder of how Britain is sinking in to third world status
