K03s on K03 stage 2 map? issues?

Hi, i'm sure this has been asked a million times before, but all i would like is a summarised version of what i may face.

Basically, i'm thinking of doing the k03s upgrade from the k03 turbo that i've currently got (my actuator is knackered, and changing just the actuator seems a bit silly when the k03s upgrade doesn't cost much more than just the actuator.)

other info -
I also have a stage 2 remap written by Nick at R-tech who also diagnosed the faulty actuator (he was almost certain that was what was causing the problems anyway).

So the question is, will i see a power increase? or is it just remap or nothing?

You really need to think about having a K03s map put on there after you've done it otherwise it's a pointless exercise IMO

So I may aswell just change the actuator then? Does anyone know if R-tech do a discount for a second remap with them?

I think they do but not sure on what it is, you'd have to ask them

Stage 2+ with AGU on K03s is well worth the money believe me

i'm sure it is haha, bet it costs a fair bit though. Also, ive just remembered I have this email from them from when i first got it remapped. Might be useful for a few people.

Power gain for your 1.8T 20v setup can be upto:
 Stage1 Tuning 180-190BHP 210-235 LBFT = £250
 
 Stage2 Tuning 192-199 BHP 250-270 LBFT = £290
 
 For stage 2 tuning you will need:
 1. Good quality cold air induction kit or Panel filter
 2. Full turbo back exhaust with 100cell or de cat at least 2.5” bore+
 3. Front mount intercooler with the boost pipes 2.5” or bigger.
 4. Turbo intake pipe (TIP)
 5. Forge 007p or OEM ‘N’ Revision diverter valve
 6. N249 bypass
 
 Stage2+ Tuning 250-262 BHP 290-300 LBFT = £350
 1. Strong actuator 1bar+
 2. k03s turbo
 3. water meth injector kit
 4. 310cc+ injectors
 5. 80mm MAF

you are almost there by the looks of it, you just need the 80mm maf and you should be set
