Hello everyone, I am very very sorry for not replying recently. I am in the process of moving apartments, and internet connection was down. (Don't ask, long story)!!!
The car is in Sweden, as I said in my first post, that I am moving abroad, and I am in Norway. Yes I am still interested in the car still, and I had spoken to him. He asked me to contact him on or after the 21th of September, as he has gone on a family holiday. Ok, now the updates. I sort of misunderstood about the recent history of the car. (Language probs) Lol.
The car has been dry stored by the previous owner for 8 years, and it has only done about 300 miles over the years. The car has passed it's mot a few weeks ago, but he now wants to sell as he has too many cars, and cannot afford to keep them all, but at the time of buying last year, he didn't want any Swedish Chav messing with its originality, which is why he brought it.
I have a Swedish speaking friend, and will ask him to communicate on my behalf when his back from holiday.
Why so many low miles over the years, I have no idea, but i'l keep you posted when I find out.
To drive a car for 12 hours is quite daring, considering it hasn't moved for many years.

Another thing - inspect the rubber fuel lines and watch them, jiggle them around with the engine running. You are looking for cracks and weeps. Common for them to perish.
